(Hosta) Does the shade create a dark space in your garden? Let Hosta Shadowland® ‘Etched Glass’ create that ‘pop’ of color you may desire. Shadowland® ‘Etched Glass’ stands 18 inches tall and 36 inches wide creating a sprawling mound. A sport of ‘Stained Glass’, Shadowland® ‘Etched Glass’ features bright yellow leaves that are edged in a wide, bright green margin. When the plant matures, you will notice the margins will increase in their puckered texture. Last summer, flower scapes emerged standing 36 inches tall and holding extra large, crisp white, fragrant flowers. Hardy in zones 3-9, this native perennial attracts hummingbirds to the garden or landscape. Planted in part sun to full shade locations, Shadowland® ‘Etched Glass’ hosta prefers moist, well drained locations. Hostas make a perfect foundation planting, garden border, or can stand alone as a beautiful garden specimen. Hosta Shadowland® ‘Etched Glass’ is a Proven Winners® Perennial.
