Iris sibirica ‘Silver Edge’ is a clump-forming perennial with gorgeous, rich sky-blue flowers with a characteristic silver edge that is popular among gardeners. The flowers are beautifully veined with yellow and white at the base of each fall and bloom from late spring to early summer. They emerge above the foliage on robust flower stalks. One of its most appealing garden features after blooming is the grass-like foliage, which consists of robust clumps of erect blue-green, narrow and somewhat rigid, blade-shaped leaves.
