Iris pseudata ‘Shiryukyo’ – Hybrid Iris
‘Shiryukyo’ delivers a bold, dramatic flourish in the mid-to-late season garden. Reddish-purple standards rise above deep purple falls, where rich markings carve out a glowing yellow signal that seems lit from within. Dense, dark green foliage supports the display with a strong architectural presence.
As a pseudacorus × ensata hybrid, this pseudata brings all the perks of its lineage: hybrid vigor, abundant buds, intricate color patterns, a longer season of bloom, and sterile plants that stay beautifully contained rather than self-seeding.
