Iris pseudata ‘Eye Liner’ – Hybrid Iris
‘Eye Liner’ draws instant attention with its luminous, pearlescent petals. Each bloom features a soft yellow eye zone perfectly outlined by a refined violet edge that traces outward along the veins, adding elegance and intrigue. Flowers rise cleanly above the foliage on well-proportioned scapes, giving this hybrid a polished stance in the garden.
As a cross between Iris pseudacorus and Iris ensata, this selection combines the best of both parents: bold bloom size, vibrant color, excellent vigor, and improved garden behavior thanks to its sterility. Thriving in moisture-rich soils, it performs beautifully at pond edges, in rain gardens, or in regular garden beds that never fully dry out.
