Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Heart Throb’
‘Heart Throb’ is a compact, eye-catching hydrangea that lives up to its name with large mophead blooms in bold shades of deep red to burgundy. These long-lasting flowers contrast beautifully with dark green foliage, creating a dramatic display from summer through early fall.
This small-sized shrub is ideal for containers, foundation plantings, or garden borders. It offers color variation depending on soil pH but typically remains in the red to wine-colored range regardless of acidity.
