Green Wonder Broccoli is a cool season annual with long basal foliage that grown for its large edible flowerhead. The large, tightly packed terminal flowerhead grows on a thick stem and is best harvested just as the flowerhead is firm and before any flowers open. To harvest, cut the stem about 5-6″ below the base of the head to allow regrowth and production of side shoots. Best if grown in rich, consistently moist well-drained loamy soils.
