Geranium sanguineum ‘Max Frei’
(Cranesbill Geranium)
A compact, easy-care hardy geranium with bright magenta flowers and a tidy mounding habit. ‘Max Frei’ blooms freely from late spring into summer, adding cheerful color to the front of borders, rock gardens, slopes, and woodland edges.
Its finely cut green foliage forms a dense, low mound that works well as a groundcover. In fall, the leaves take on reddish tones for added seasonal interest.
Hardy geraniums are valued for their reliable performance, attractive foliage, and pollinator-friendly blooms. ‘Max Frei’ is also deer and rabbit resistant, making it a practical choice for low-maintenance plantings.
