This is a nice, compact growth habit for a clematis vine, which makes it perfect for city gardens, patios, decks, and small spaces. It’s a cold-hardy, perennial vine that offers dependable spring blooms in Zones 4-9. Plant beside a trellis or wire to support its climbing growth, and you’ll be rewarded with showy early-season flowers.rBoulevard Paulie Clematis CarerMulch your clematis heavily, but be sure to pull the mulch away from the stem.
